Dynamic 3D measurement of ship movement

The towing tank at the
Institute of Nautical Science (Location Leer) of the University of Applied Science Emden/Leer was equipped with a photogrammetric 3D measurement system in order to predict hydrodynamic performance of ships and marine installations based on measurements of the ship and the water surface.
The system records the ship and the water surface with 100 frames per second. Image processing, point measurement and motion analysis is completely integrated in s3D.VideoAnalysis.
